Bono Consulting prepared the new construction site plans for Wazio Orthodontics patient care facility at 950 Wilson Street in Batavia, Illinois. We worked closely with the owner and architect to design the parking lot to allow for emergency vehicle access and to provide a central drive aisle, preserving the west half of the property for development in the future.
The 14-space parking lot is constructed using a permeable pavement system to provide a low impact stormwater management solution and comply with Kane County Stormwater Mitigation/Best Management Practices (BMP) requirements. Permeable pavement is a porous type of pavement that allows water to drain through it to infiltrate into the ground rather than running off into the existing storm drain infrastructure.
Our team was able to resolve a complicated utility crossing issue with an existing 60-inch storm main and two sanitary mains on Wilson Street. Our work resulted in successful water service to the property that is safe and complies with regulations.
