Bono Consulting provided engineering design and construction observation for the new subdivision development in Northbrook, IL. The engineering procedure required a new cul-de-sac roadway, a looped water main, a sanitary main, and a stormwater collection system.
We designed the stormwater to route towards a surface pond restored in native vegetation plantings for more natural drainage. Interestingly, those vegetation plantings have also developed into a thriving bird habitat.
