Bono Consulting prepared the engineering drawings for this new restaurant and outdoor tequila garden. The site is situated at the busy intersection of Milwaukee and Sacramento Avenues in Logan Square, Chicago.
The water connection needed to be located at the rear of the existing building and cut across the alley to connect to the water main on Sacramento Avenue.
The outdoor garden needed to collect stormwater runoff in a manner that met City of Chicago requirements, avoided tripping hazards, and coordinated with the decorative walls and planters while also being aesthetically pleasing.
Bono Consulting helped the client obtain a second sewer connection from a different part of the building that was part of a different Property Index Number (PIN). This provided a significant cost savings to the developer.
