Bono Consulting provided engineering design and permitting for this 10-acre truck stop in Northlake, IL. We were tasked with designing a gas station with six gas dispensers and 27 car parking spaces, eight diesel dispensers and 143 truck parking spaces, truck scale, and truck wash. The plans included a 3.66 ac-ft StormTrap underground stormwater detention vault. The site was also designed to accommodate improvements from the I-294 expansion, with the affected area designed as gravel truck parking spaces. The AmeriFreight Truck Stop has been completed and is open for truck parking.
