Bono Consulting was hired by a local developer to prepare the site engineering plans for this 22-unit townhome development.
Bono Consulting helped develop the initial site conceptual design and the drawings for the Planned Unit Development hearings. Several amenities were provided to gain permitting approval by the Highland Park planning board, including a green stormwater development plan consisting of permeable pavement under 100% of the drive aisles. Another feature is a public access parklet with a sculpture at the corner of Bloom Street and Waukegan Avenue.
After the site plan was approved by the City of Highland Park, Bono Consulting prepared the detailed civil engineering plans and agency permitting. The site dropped five feet from north to south, making grading and getting storage in the permeable pavement challenging – but nothing our team can’t handle.
We also provided support during construction and prepared the final as-built topographic survey for the project closeout.
